Maximize Your Catch with Lowrance Marine Electronics

18 Jan

If you like offshore sportfishing and boating then you have probably heard of Lowrance technology. They are in fact a leader in manufacturering GPS, Sonar, depth finders, chartplotters and fishfinders. Lowrance marine systems has certainly become possibly the best recognized brands in marine electronics among commercial fishermen and boating enthusiasts of all kinds because of the wide selection of devices they supply.

Having lived for years on the Jersey Shore, I had spent many hours on the ocean and bays. In those times, finding fish was more luck then skill on any given day. But at present that has all changed.

If you like doing some fishing, you’d be interested in Lowrance Marine fish finders. They include dual frequency sonar, 480 X 480 resolution, up to 2500 feet depth penetrationt, and other innovative features. Fish Finders are offered also in the large screen monochrome monitors. Lets face it, if you’d like to “hook” the bigger ones, you must be able to find them first. The newer fishfinder and combo units perform a great job. The popular fishing and boating kits come in a large variety of sizes, prices and colors suiting distinctive requirements. Now you will see fishfinders and combo units on everything from huge fishing trawlers to small bass boats.

What I genuinely appreciate when sailing even in the bays and rivers is a Marine GPS. Marine GPS is easily the most well-known GPS types and Lowrance Marine GPS is at the top end of the list. The Lowrance GPS antenna is built-in on most of the GPS enabled units so installation and use is effortless. Many a time I had to offer up reasons for being overdue for supper because I sailed too far. My kids are unable to get away with that today because they always know precisely where they are.

A step beyond common GPS is the Marine GPS chartplotter, which can help you stay on the course. Chartplotters are also able to give you advance information regarding the buoys and the tides. They can also be good for understanding the weather and can provide you with the sonar and radar images.

When you consider the wide range of commercial grade products on the market today, it simply makes sense to add new Lowrance electronics to whatever sort of boat you have.
